Why Scooby-Doo deserves its very own meal kit

Bluey got her own meal kit from Home Chef but brands are ignoring a very big dog.

If there's one thing we love here on Dog o' Day, it's our cartoon dogs and right now, no one is bigger than Bluey. The show even got its own meal kit from Home Chef, but one big dog everyone is forgetting about is Scooby-Doo.

Even though Scooby-Doo has been around much longer, we have yet to get a meal kit based on our favorite Great Dane. While this idea came from seeing and trying the Bluey meal kit, it's something brands are sleeping on.

Let's start with the fact that Scooby-Doo loves food. Scooby and his best buddy, Shaggy have always been huge eaters. it's been a part of their characters from the very beginning and honestly, there's something so nostalgic about that.

No matter which series you're watching, Scooby and Shaggy are either eating, talking about getting something to eat, or are on the hunt for food. With that being said, this could be a great move for a brand, looking for a partnership to appeal to a wide variety of generations and food preferences.

Scooby-Doo is the next cartoon dog deserving of a meal kit.

Before getting into some ideas for a Scooby meal kit, I feel like this idea isn't new but is something that could be achieved easily. Of course, we also have to think about everything going on at Warner Brothers right now as nothing is getting love right now. Instead, it's mostly been about tax runoffs and tons of shows and movies being canceled or just generally pushed to the side for no reason.

While it's a sad reality for those who worked on the projects, it's hopefully something we'll see remedied in the future. Until then, the idea of a Scooby-Doo meal kit seems like a far-off dream. I would personally love to see one so hopefully we will. However until things change, I don't think it'll be happening anytime soon.

However, if there were to be a Scooby-Doo meal kit created, I think there are a few avenues they could go down for that. First would be the iconic huge sandwich Scooby and Shaggy are always sharing. It could be an Italian, a club, or even, just a regular turkey and cheese. As long as it's piled up with toppings and tons of meat and cheese, it would be Shaggy and Scooby-approved.

For a themed meal kit, they could go with one of the Scooby movies with the obvious choice being Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island. With the Louisiana food scene and all of the dishes the gang tried, this could be a huge win for Scooby fans. Plus the movie will be celebrating 30 years in 2028 so an anniversary one-off meal kit is always a fun idea.

No Scooby-Doo meal kit would be complete without Scooby Snacks. Whether the brand wanted to do sweet, savory, or a mix of both, every Scooby meal kit would have to feature a recipe for Scooby Snacks. It's such an integral part of the series so it's a need, not a want. All in all, Scooby-Doo is such an iconic character and a huge foodie so not having a meal kit based on the series is just unfair.
