Let's just admit it: We all love Walmart. It's reliable, usually fun, and features tons of things you don't need but your pet would love.

That's why I had to share some deals for National Pet Month. Since May is the start of National Pet Month, you still have plenty of time to pamper your pet. Of course, Walmart is making sure it caters to your pet, no matter what they like.

Thankfully, there are plenty of items and deals to choose from so we're going to start off with one for new pet parents. First is Walmart's new essentials kits and adoption bundles. These are curated starter kits for the new pet parent and it's going to include everything you need to make sure your new pet feels at home with you.

There are kitten and puppy adoption bundles that feature items like food, collars, toys, and everything you need to welcome your new family member. There is a Travel must-have kit, a Summer essential kit, and even, a health and wellness kit. All of these come with everything you need to make the most of the experience for your pet.

Walmart is making the most of National Pet Month.

In addition to those bundles, Walmart has plenty of deals on pet supplies which you can find on the brand's website. This is full of so many items for your pets, no matter how old they are or how long you've had them.

Walmart is also adding some new products to its lineup including some items from Goodlands, Smart Box Litter, and even, Milk-Bone x Jif treats. Of the list shared, the one thing we're most excited about are the new Squishmallows Dog Toys. These come in 4 different varieties and feature two different squishmallows for your dog to play with or snuggle up with. Either way, these were too cute to not get their own spotlight.

If you didn't know, Walmart also has an eCommerce Pet Pharmacy which allows you to get your pets' prescriptions easily. While it's only available in some states, it's worth looking into as Walmart rolls it out in other states. You can also get a subscription of your pet's favorite products via a subscription to avoid a trip on a busy week, too.

Lastly, Walmart and Blue Buffalo are teaming up for a great cause. As shared by the brand: " This May, Blue Buffalo will donate 50 cents, up to $275,000, to Best Friends Animal Society for every 5 lb. bag of BLUE Tastefuls dry cat food and BLUE Life Protection Formula dry dog food purchased exclusively at Walmart through May 30th. These funds will help cover adoption fees." Sounds like a pretty sweet deal for new pet parents out there.

Walmart has always been a great place to shop for pet parents but the chain is really showing out for National Pet Month 2024.
