When one thinks of dogs and spooky season, most think of Scooby-Doo. As much as humans love to watch Scooby-Doo, he's also one of the most iconic dogs out there.
That's why I had to go on the hunt for some awesome Scooby-Doo items for dogs. Starting with one of the biggest retailers, PetSmart has some utterly adorable and downright fun options for your pup this Halloween.
No matter if your pup is more of a Shaggy, a Scooby, or a mix of the two, there are plenty of great Halloween-themed items to choose from. For the most part, PetSmart is focusing on toys and other accessories aside from Halloween costumes.
Either way, there are still plenty of great items to talk about and things you can pick up for your dog to help them embrace their inner Scooby.

Since there are only two Halloween costumes, let's start with that. If you're looking for a groovy costume for your dog this year, why not pick up this Mystery Machine costume? This costume is easy to put on as you Velcro it to your dog and from there, they're ready to zoom off to solve the next big mystery in Coolsville or Crystal Cove. Yes, the Scooby-Doo universe is somewhat confusing!
The other costume is none other than Scooby-Doo himself. You can dress your pup up like one of the most iconic cartoon dogs. This is another one that you can velcro on your dog so it's easy to take on and off. Sometimes, dogs can be divas and that's something Scooby-Doo has taught us. Either way, these are two incredibly fun costumes and ones I had to share.
Moving onto some other accessories, PetSmart also has 2 different Scooby-Doo-themed harnesses which are made by Sassy Woof with one featuring an orange Halloween theme and the other being a purple Halloween theme. You can also grab a collar or leash if you're looking to go totally Scooby this Halloween season.

From a plush of the iconic pup to Velma dressed as a mummy, the gang in the Mystery Machine, and even, the Phantom Monster, there is no shortage of fun Scooby-Doo items for your pup this year. You could even make a boo basket for your dog so they'll feel the love the entirety of the spooky season.
