Is Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School streaming anywhere?

By now, all of us have heard that Boomerang is shutting down. Due to that, most of the content on there is being migrated over to Max.

Most fans aren't happy about the move, myself included. The thing that is really bothersome is what's going to happen to all of those beloved Scooby-Doo direct-to-video films we've all come to know and love.

Given that we're all craving some Halloween content, there is no other film that comes to mind than Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School. Released in 1988, the film is one I remember watching over and over again and absolutely loving it.

Clearly, many felt the same way as all of us rejoiced, seeing the girls meet again in an episode of OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes. Since then, the film has been streaming on Boomerang, but is it streaming anywhere else with Max taking over?

Can you stream Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School? (As of September 2024)

To put it simply, you cannot stream Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School anywhere currently. Fora the majority of the film's time online, you could only stream it on Boomerang so this shouldn't come as a surprise. If anything, I would have been more surprised if we were able to stream it before Boomerang closed down.

Sadly if you go to Boomerang's website, there aren't many titles left on there especially when it comes to Scooby-Doo. There are a few shows and movies left but most have disappeared. We can only hope that Max has plans to create an entire Scoobtober playlist featuring all of our favorite Scooby-Doo shows and movies so we can enjoy them. Then again, that might be giving the company too much credit.

Either way, if you're looking to stream Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School now, you're going to have to bite the bullet and pay the money to rent it. Hopefully, we'll see our favorite group of girls along with Scooby and Shaggy soon on Max.
