Aside from Boomerang, there aren't many classic cartoon channels yet MeTV Toons is changing the conversation. Launching on June 25th, the channel is here to give us all the cartoon content we're on the hunt for.

I don't know about you, but I've always loved watching cartoons and the MeTV Toons channel is just going to make that even easier. The other thing I absolutely love is that MeTV Toons already shared its schedule before its launch.

The thing I found most exciting is that there are so many shows featuring cartoon dogs and the schedule is showing so much love to them. Of course, as much as I love Scooby-Doo, the entire schedule isn't just filled with loads of Scooby-Doo episodes.

Instead, we're getting episodes with pups of all different shapes, sizes, and colors. While the schedule is likely to change at some point, this early look at the schedule gives me hope for what's next with the MeTV Toons channel.

The MeTV Toons channel is giving love to our favorite cartoon dogs.

MeTV Toons was kind enough to share its schedule on Twitter so I can share it with all of you and we can talk about how many cartoon dogs there are. Looking at the schedule for weekdays first, it starts with The Underdog Show at 9:00 am before moving on to Inspector Gadget at 9:30 am. Of course, we know The Underdog Show features Underdog while Inspector Gadget features Brain who is Inspector Gadget's dog. Then at 11:30 am, we get Wacky Races which can sometimes feature Muttley before getting Cartoon All-Stars at 1:00 pm which could feature any number of cartoon dogs.

Heading into the afternoon, there aren't many dog-centric shows but the evening brings even more pups. At 6:00 pm, there is Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! and then Astro and his family: The Jetsons at 6:30 pm. For the most part, that's all the dog content for the week but that's a lot of shows and a lot of cartoon dogs to get to know or be reintroduced to.

Let's move on to the weekend starting with Saturday. Saturday begins with Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! at 10:00 am, and then at 11:00 am, Top Cat clocks in. While he's not a dog, we do love cats here at Dog o' Day. For the most part, it's more of the same as the previous day with episodes of The Underdog Show and Wacky Races filling in the gaps. However, you can get a glimpse of Bandit on Jonny Quest at 11:30 am.

Moving onto Sundays, we're getting more episodes of The Underdog Show at 11:00 am, and then at 3:00 pm, there is a Scooby-Doo! Sunday Specials. In an article from TVLine, they shared what that will entail: "Every Sunday afternoon from 3 to 5 pm ET, the Scooby gang goes in search of more mysteries, more snacks and more fun — kicking off Sunday, June 30 with The New Scooby Doo Movies." I am so here for that as someone who loves The New Scooby Doo Movies. The night will wrap up with even more cartoon pups with The Jetsons at 5:30 pm, Top Cat at 6:00 pm, and Jonny Quest at 6:30 pm.

As far as schedules go, I feel like MeTV Toons knew exactly what they were doing. Not only did they feature some great shows but they also gave us some great cartoon pups to revisit. While the channel doesn't launch until June 25th, I truly cannot wait to see what the future holds for MeTV Toons.
