Kids Choice Awards 2024: Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie snags a nomination

Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards have been a huge part of the network and each year, it feels like things get bigger and bigger.

One thing that doesn't seem to change though is the categories. This year, we're talking about the Favorite Animated Movie category which includes a lot of heavy-hitters from the past year and even some from 2024.

This time though, we're showing some love to Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie. If anything, this proves just how big Paw Patrol is. If there's one thing I can say about Paw Patrol, it's a fun show that is also surprisingly complex.

Of all the films nominated, Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie is a very popular choice, but could it beat out some of the biggest animated features of 2023 and 2024?

Will the KCAs end up giving Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie the win?

If there's one thing I love about these award shows, it's that everything is voted on by fans so there is a chance for any of these movies. However, I feel like Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie has a good chance of winning for a few reasons. First is that it's a sequel and for the most part, this film ended up being a favorite among those who went to see it.

In addition, the film was made using characters from Nickelodeon's show: Paw Patrol. While that doesn't always guarantee a win, it does give the show somewhat of an advantage. The film also got a lot of love from critics and audiences alike which doesn't always happen. Either way, I do think that Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie has a good chance of winning.

Looking at the other nominees, Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie does have some stiff competition if it were to win. Some of the other popular films nominated are 2024's The Garfield Movie, 2023's The Super Mario Bros. Movie, 2024's Kung Fu Panda 4, and 2023's Elemental. All in all, there is no shortage of great animated films to pick from but Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie definitely has a chance.
