The Baltimore Orioles have a heck of a player in Gunnar Henderson. Most notably though, Henderson has the personality to boot.

For those who have been following him this year, you might recall Henderson's Scooby-Doo impression. However, he took things a step further when it came to the Home Run Derby on July 15th, 2024.

In honor of his love for Scooby-Doo and the entire Mystery gang, Henderson competed in the Home Run Derby by using a Scooby-Doo-themed bat. According to an article shared by the official MLB site: "He also used a custom Scooby-Doo bat painted the blue, green and orange colors of the Mystery Machine and featuring the phrases “ZOINKS!” and “RUH-ROH!” If that doesn't make you like him, I don't know what else will.

Of course, Henderson didn't stop there as he also shared his very own Scooby-Doo impression which has been featured in previous Orioles' social media content in the past.

Gunnar Henderson shows off his appreciation for Scooby-Doo.

We're going to include his impression below but I wanted to share some other details about his love for Scooby-Doo. When asked about why he chose that bat, Henderson spoke about how his impression went viral and that Scooby-Doo was his favorite show when he was younger. Sounds like our type of guy.

Whether you're an Orioles fan or not, there is no denying Gunnar Henderson is having fun and his performance and Scooby impression at the HR Derby proved that. Even if you're not a sports fan, you don't want to miss his fun Scooby-Doo impression. It feels like everyone has their own Scooby-Doo impression and Henderson's is pretty darn good.

If you're a Scooby-Doo fan, you're bound to enjoy Gunnar Henderson's impression. If you're not a Scooby-Doo fan, then do you hate joy? I'm just kidding, but Scooby-Doo is such a huge part of pop culture that I had to share this fun sports x Scooby connection.
