Bob's Burgers: Have the Belchers ever had a dog?
Bob's Burgers is one of the best shows currently airing on Fox. There is something about the animated series that just appeals to people of all ages.
If there's one thing we can agree on, the show is more heartwarming and wholesome than any of us ever thought. Season 1 feels like an entirely different beast, which is often how it is with most shows.
No matter at one point you started the show, most fans have come to know and love the Belchers as they do their own family. Maybe that's just me, but the one thing the show has always lacked is pets and sadly, we've never seen the Belchers have a pet.
That doesn't mean that the kids haven't been trying to convince Bob and Linda to get a pet of some kind but given how expensive pets are, it doesn't seem likely.
No pets on Bob's Burgers? The show still features animals.
While the Belcher family hasn't had pets, there are a few episodes with different animals at the forefront. When one thinks of Bob's Burgers and pets, most of us think about Aunt Gayle and all of her cats. Gayle is a certified cat lady and is proud of it. I mean one of her cats is named Mr. Business, Mr. Jim Business to be exact.
Then for the immediate Belcher family, Linda has a kinship with a raccoon outside of the restaurant named Little King Trashmouth. The lore around Little King Trashmouth is intense and he even has a husband named Gary. For those who watch the show, it's always fun when Little King Trashmouth shows up and Linda always makes a point of showing him some love.
Additionally, Tina has her imaginary horse, Jericho, who pops up occasionally. And since he's voiced by Paul Rudd, it's extra fun. At one time, the Belchers even had a cow in their house which was part of the season 1 shenanigans. All in all, the Belchers might not have a pet on Bob's Burgers but there is no shortage of animals featured.
