Paw Patrol is celebrating Thanksgiving and so is Rubble and Crew

When it comes to holiday specials, Thanksgiving doesn't get nearly as much love. Even so, some shows do air a Thanksgiving episode and one of those is these two gems from Nickelodeon.

Most of us think of Paw Patrol and its many holiday episodes but now, Rubble & Crew has joined in on the fun. While the series hasn't been around nearly as long as its predecessor, Rubble & Crew has its fans as well.

Since Paw Patrol is the more popular pick, let's start with that one. Paw Patrol aired a Thanksgiving episode as part of season 5 and it was episode 22. Entitled "Pups Save Thanksgiving," it was the first half of the episode and as you might imagine, it followed our favorite Paw Patrol pups saving Thanksgiving.

The episode features Mayor Humdinger getting caught up in a massively turkey-sized problem and the pups have to help him and his kitties before it's too late. Honestly, most episode involve Mayor Humdinger getting into trouble so having it be the theme for the Thanksgiving episode is fitting.

Rubble & Crew recently released a Thanksgiving episode.

Let's not forget about Rubble and his family as Rubble & Crew recently celebrated Thanksgiving in Builder Cove. Airing early in November, the Rubble & Crew episode was part of season 2 and was episode 27.

Entitled "The Crew Celebrates Builder Covegiving Day," the episode puts a unique spin on the usual Thanksgiving episode. When Speed Meister thinks he's purposely excluded, he tries to make sure the rest of the citizens of Builder Cove can't do anything. Of course, Rubble and the rest of his family take this a challenge and end up celebrating Builder Covegiving Day in their own way.

Even though most shows ignore Thanksgiving, it's awesome to see there are now two featuring some of our favorite Paw Patrol members. It's also worth mentioning that Marshall from Paw Patrol is making his debut at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Given that Chase has appeared in the past, it's awesome to see Marshall getting his turn.

Maybe in the future, we'll see Rubble and his crew end up as part of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Until then though, you can always head to Paramount Plus to get even more Paw Patrol and Rubble & Crew this holiday season.
