Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade: Which famous pups are attending in 2024?

The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is a tradition in many households and each year, it seems bigger and better. That's why I'm always excited to see which characters will be featured.

Since we're a site dedicated to dogs, we have to talk about some of the famous pups who will be attending this year. 2024 has felt like a huge year for dog characters so I'm incredibly excited to share the lineup.

Starting things off is none other than our favorite Blue Heeler pup: Bluey and this year, she's joined by a special balloon. Yes, it's a balloon modeled after a balloon. Given how popular Bluey is, this shouldn't come as any surprise.

What other famous dogs are in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade?

In addition to Bluey making her return, we're also seeing the return of Beagle Scout Snoopy along with his pal, Woodstock. Snoopy continues to be a cultural icon so seeing him return to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is always fun. For the most part, though, dogs aren't the many attractions this year.

If you want to see a new balloon for 2024, you're in luck as Marshall will be taking the leash from Chase. Yes, our favorite Paw Patrol firedog is making his debut at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade this year. While it seems like this should have happened by now, we're just now getting one of Marshall.

For those wanting even more Bluey, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is adding a Balloonicles that features Janet and Rita aka Bluey and Bingo driving a car. Honestly, this is such a fun way to add even more Bluey to the parade and get people watching. Camp Snoopy will be returning as a fun float for 2024 as well.

All in all, there are so much to be excited about and watch for during this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
