Disney has no shortage of great shows featuring pets, which is why we're so excited to talk about RoboGobo. We even got an exclusive look at the cast and the furry friends they spend their free time with.
Before getting into the pups, let's get into the series. The series follows 5 pets who don't have a home until they meet Dax. At that point, these adorable animals go from looking for homes to being Team RoboGobo. Disney said it best: "The rescue pets who rescue pets," which is a message we can get behind.
The series has a incredibly talented cast which includes the likes of Alan Cumming, Alison Pill, Ana Gesteyer, Valerie Bertinelli, Dee Bradley Baker and Ja'Siah Young. Young voices Dax, the kid behind the genius invention that takes these pets from sad to superheroes. The series will also include guest appearances from Taye Diggs, Cynthia Erivo, and John Michael Higgins.
I have to give it up to Disney for getting so many talented actors and pet parents on board to make this show all the more special. Being a voice actor is no easy feat, and the same can be said about being a pet parent. Thankfully, we've got a look at who these pet parents will be portraying in Disney's RoboGobo.
Meet the pet parents featured on Disney's RoboGobo series.
Before getting into all the fun details, I'd like to thank Disney for sending me all these photos and allowing me to show off these celebrity pet parents. It's so rewarding being a pet parent, and no doubt, these actors feel the same way.
Alan Cumming and Lala

The first pet parent we're talking about is Alan Cumming. Cumming and his famous furry friend might be recognizable for fans of The Traitors. However, he's taking on an entirely new role in RoboGobo as Dame Luxley. His character is described as "an eccentric woman who, together with her pet crab named Crabitha." In real life, Cumming is usually joined by Lala, his rescue dog. Lala was essentially forgotten in favor of her puppies, but she's now living the life by Cumming's side. Let's hope she enjoys his turn as Dame Luxley!
Valerie Bertinelli and Luna

Next is Valerie Bertinelli, who is taking her talents from the kitchen to the soundbooth. Thankfully, she's not going far on RoboGobo as she's portraying Chef Polly. She's the owner of Polly's Pet-zeria and is joined by her pet fish, Gill. Her real-life best friend is Luna, who Bertinelli describes as a "foster failure" since she ended up adopting her. While she's a dog mom, she's also a pet parent to many.
Ana Gasteyer and Gloria

Ana Gasteyer is portraying Crabitha in the series, who is Dame's pet. As you might imagine, a high maintenance pet such as herself is often calling Team RoboGobo for help. As for Ana Gasteyer in real life, she's joined by Gloria. While she doesn't post Gloria much, there was no way we weren't going to include her in our pup roundup.
Alison Pill and Henry

Rounding out the pet parents is Alison Pill. She's playing Farmer Faye, who is a friend of Team RoboGobo. In a similar vein, Pill has her best friend in the form of her dog, Henry. Henry isn't just Alison's companion, but he's also a huge fixture on her Instagram. He knows he's a star and why he's been featured on her page. There is something so relatable about seeing celebs post their pets that make them just like us.
RoboGobo premieres April 1st on Disney+.
