March 30 was Mother’s Day in the UK, and members of the Royal family celebrated with posts on social media. Princess Catherine took to social media to share a video of nature, as she wanted to celebrate the impacts of Mother Nature and how it has been so important for her.
In the video, there was an image of Prince William walking in a field with two dogs at his heels. However, if you are a fan of the royal family, then you may only be familiar with one dog in the Prince and Princess of Wales’ household.
Following the passing of their beloved dog, Lupo, the Royal couple introduced the world to Orla, a Cocker Spaniel who they got from Princess Catherine’s brother, James Middleton. This leaves us with the question of who is the second dog in the video?
We are not 100% sure, but Hello magazine is speculating that it’s either a second dog that the Wales family has added to their household, or it could belong to Princess Catherine‘s parents. Because it seems that when the video was taken, her parents were with the couple, so they may have had their own dog with them.
Could Prince William and Princess Catherine have a second dog now?
A number of followers have commented on the Instagram post with their observations of this new puppy. Many of them believe that it’s possible that Orla has a new doggy sibling. And we would not be mad at that if it’s true, because we love the idea of more pups having forever homes.
You can see the full video featuring both pups below:
We know that members of the royal family love their dogs. In fact, many of the royals have dogs. King Charles was recently gifted a pup that got people talking and had people searching for the unique breed. So it makes sense that we would be curious about a second dog in a video featuring the Prince and Princess of Wales. And obviously, Prince William and Princess Catherine already have a dog in Orla, so a second dog would definitely get people talking.
It is entirely possible that the royal couple did in fact add a second dog to their family. But we will have to wait to see if we get confirmation of that with an announcement or a different post dedicated to both pups.
