There are certain characters who you never forget, and one of those is easily Thackery Binx. If you don't remember, he's the cat from Hocus Pocus.
In the past, we've talked about how large his role in the film is, yet he's still one of those characters who never gets the love he deserves. With that being said, there was no way we weren't going to cover this release from Funko, which is a Pop! & Buddy release.
Basically, a Pop! & Buddy release is essentially a pop with their buddy. Funko has released others including Deadpool & Wolverine, Venkmen & Slimer, and Joe Cool & Woodstock. Honestly, this is such a fun idea and a great way to give fans a little something more. That's why this Hocus Pocus one is even more special.
The only thing worth noting is that this one is a Funko exclusive, so you have to purchase this one on Funko's website. Right now, it doesn't seem like there are many in stock, but hopefully, Funko will restock it eventually. I mean, they'd had to go with spooky season creeping up on us.
Allison and Binx are the Funko duo we've been dying for.
This set features Allison in her classic '90s outfit, and what a look it is. I feel like most of us think about her outfit, and it ends up being something we didn't forget. As for Binx, he's got his adorable black fur paired with his piercing eyes. He's also smiling or possibly getting ready to take down the Sanderson Sisters.
Either way, the set is finished off with a container of salt, which Allison uses to make a circle to keep the Sanderson Sisters away. This adorable duo wasn't the only one released by Funko to give us even more Hocus Pocus goodness.
In addition, Funko released one of Max. This time, he's in his "Halloween" look which is him wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses, and his jacket. Honestly, this one oozes cool, and that's basically what Max was going for. Hopefully, this year, we'll get even more Hocus Pocus Pop! figures, especially for Binx, as he's such a good kitty.
The good news is that you can stream Hocus Pocus 1 and 2 on Disney+, so you can get your Binx fix until we get more Funko news.
