By now you probably know that on March 26 it was announced that we were finally getting a brand new live action Scooby-Doo series. While we have known that there was a series potentially in the works, it has been ordered to series by Netflix, meaning it’s actually going to happen. And that had us wondering about merchandise.
Over the years, Loungefly has definitely been the place to go when it comes to finding amazing Scooby-Doo gear. And when I went on the Loungefly site recently, I noticed that there were only nine items available for sale for Scooby-Doo fans.
Currently, there are two pieces of clothing, two of their mini backpacks, a full-size backpack, two wallets and two Crossbody bags. Even the pet accessories that they carried in the past are no longer on the website. So that made us wonder if it was time to get a new Scooby-Doo collection from Loungefly.
We need more Scooby-Doo merch from Loungefly
Knowing that Netflix is going all in on an origin series about Scooby-Doo and Mystery Inc., I really feel like Loungefly should go all in on Scooby-Doo too. I would love to see a new collection, not only for ourselves, but also for our pets.
Honestly, I am a big fan of Loungefly products to begin with. And I have my own collection of their mini backpacks, card wallets, and other bags. But I don’t have anything from them featuring Scooby-Doo yet. Sadly, nothing has really called to me in a while. But I’m hoping that with a new live action series in the works, maybe we will get a brand new Loungefly collection that I can’t resist.
Then again, I might just need that full-size backpack that’s still available on their website, because it’s all about Scooby-Doo snacks with Scooby and Shaggy.
