One of the most beloved super pets is easily Krypto the Superdog. As Superman's best friend and a talent in his own right, Krypto hasn't always been in the spotlight.
With the upcoming release of Superman though, things are looking much brighter for our favorite super pup. He's finally getting his chance to be on the big screen and give us all more reasons to love him. Honestly, it's been a long time coming for Krypto.
Ahead of the film, DC dropped a collection dedicated to Krypto featuring items for you, your pup and everyone in between. You can find a look at the collection here and see some of the unique and adorable pieces. With all the buzz and excitement around Krypto, it leaves one huge question.
If Krypto is as popular as he seems, why hasn't Loungefly decided to release an entire collection for him?
It's time for a Krypto-themed Loungefly collection.
Loungefly has given us some downright amazing collections and shown love to some of our favorite pups including Lady, Tramp, the 101 Dalmatians, Dug, and even the Pound Puppies. The one dog who hasn't been featured in a collection yet is Krypto. Additionally, this collection wouldn't just have to focus on one thing.
There are two avenues Loungefly could go down for this one. First, the brand could work on making a collection just for dogs. We've shared some of Loungefly's different pet items in the past, but some of the items have included leashes, collars, backpack harnesses, and treat holders. It would be amazing to see Krypto become the face of one of those collections. Ultimately, it would be such a treat for pups and their humans alike, super or not.
The other option Loungefly has is to create a collection for people and their pets. It would be awesome to see mini backpacks featuring Krypto on them, wallets, or even, tote bags. These would also go hand-in-hand with the pet items mentioned above. As for style, Loungefly could go with a comic-book style in which he looks regal and super. The other option is to go for something more realistic as he is in the upcoming Superman film.
Regardless of which style Loungefly chooses, a Krypto collection would be so cool and the perfect accessory to get ahead of the film. Hopefully, Loungefly already has something planned or is working on something Krypto-related in the future. Even if it doesn't happen or it takes a few months, the idea is too fun to pass on.
