Ahead of Memorial Day, Joe Jonas gave us all a gift in the form of his new solo album: Music for People Who Believe in Love. While Jonas originally delayed it in 2024, it was finally released on May 23.

For those who've listened to it, you'll know how personal the album is, and that's part of the beauty of it. With tracks featuring all sorts of different emotions, you'll be jumping all over the place in the best way, and sometimes, that's the inspiration you're looking for.

If you're looking to add a new addition to your family, then maybe your pup will need a name, and using a recent album can be an excellent excuse. As a long-time fan of Joe Jonas, it makes me wish I were about to adopt a dog and could use one of Joe's songs to help come up with their name.

However, if you're able to and can afford it, then we're sharing some names either featured in the songs or are part of the title. The album does have some unique titles so some of these might surprise you, but let's get into it.

These dog names are all inspired by Joe Jonas

1. Cinderella from "Parachute"

The first name is one I noticed while listening to "Parachute." The track is about Joe going through his divorce and figuring it out from there. However, the name featured in the song was "Cinderella," as the lyric goes, "Cinderella needs new slippers." That's such a fun one and a reference I didn't notice upon first listen. Either way, that's a perfect name especially if you're adopting an adorable little girl.

2. Honey from "Honey Blonde"

With a song like "Honey Blonde," there are obviously two options to go with, and between the two, honey sounded better than blonde. Honestly, I could picture deciding to name a golden puppy that name because it's just so sweet. No matter which name you decide, I'm sure it'll end up being the perfect fit for your pup.

3. Mars from "My Own Best Friend"

While I enjoy the album as a whole, my favorite song is "My Own Best Friend." It's clear Joe is going through a lot, and it's explored in this song. One of the lyrics featured in the song says, "Met a man on the Moon but I'm still halfway to Mars..." That lyric is so powerful and immediately made me stop and really appreciate it. With that being said, this might be a weird one, but I had to feature my favorite song at least once.

4. Sunshine from "Velvet Sunshine"

With summer just upon us, this one was an easy pick. Plus of all the songs on the album, it truly feels like it's going to be a radio hit. Either way, this one would be great, especially if you're getting a puppy or know your new dog is going to be your source of sunshine.

Regardless if you're a fan of Joe Jonas or not, this list was too fun to put together. Then maybe this will be the push you need to go listen to Music for People Who Believe in Love.
