Petco’s Pickle Toys are trending on TikTok thanks to @chancethepupper
The Christmas Pickle is a German-American tradition that has gradually grown in popularity. So much so that it has become a holiday dog (and cat) toy too.
Over the last few years, we have watched as the Christmas Pickle has continued to be a tradition even with our pets. And this year, the Merry Makings holiday pickle toys from Petco have gone viral thanks to a TikTok video from @chancethepupper.
The cuteness is real with this video, as we learn that Chance has apparently had a small holiday pickle toy since he was a puppy. And then the pup’s parent found a much larger pickle plush for her pup this season that was an instant hit.
At this point, it seems that Chance has three pickles in his toy collection and it is adorable. And if you want to start a little pickle family for your pup this holiday season, you’re in luck! These dog toys are still available at Petco if you want to stuff your pup’s stocking or even spoil them ahead of Christmas.

There are a few different choices when it comes to these adorable dog toys, including an option for our cats. And we love that so much!
Our personal favorite might just be the jumbo pickle plush which typically has a $49 price tag, but has been on sale recently as low as $25! Honestly, this dog toy is ridiculous and we love it.
This is not the first time that we have fallen in love with these holiday pickles for dogs, but we are so excited to see more people appreciating the magic of these stuffed toys. And of course, we love the fact that @chancethepupper has his own collection of them that he is in love with.
