Cats are an important part of any day especially your proposal day. Wait, that’s not right but Felix Cat Insurance is giving you some incentive.

Since getting engaged is most popular in December, the company decided to capitalize on that. If you’re a cat lover or plan to propose to a cat lover, you need to listen up.

As shared via the company’s press release: “Starting today, anyone planning to propose this December can privately share their engagement plans at FelixPurrfectProposal.com, including how their kitty will be involved in the memorable milestone moment.” Of course, it’s up to you to find the best way to involve your cat in your romantic question.

The caveat is that you have from today until December 19th to submit something. In addition, you must live in the United States, be at least 18 years old and your proposal must take place within the month of December. You’re also out of luck if you live in Washington and Puerto Rico.

Felix Cat Insurance will help if you use your cat using your proposal in Dec.

If you are the lucky winner, there’s a huge prize going to both you and your cat. Felix Cat Insurance will give you $4,750 to put towards an engagement ring for your love. While that’s a lot of money, engagement rings are definitely a lot pricier than in the past. Plus you could always use the leftover for planning your wedding.

In addition, your cat won’t have to be without a prize, too. The brand will also be sending “a curated kit of treats and surprises so your furry friend can join in on the celebration.” As you can see, your cat helping you out will also help them out, too. All in all, it’s a fair trade for everyone involved. The only thing to be worried about is if the person you’re proposing to says yes.

Then again if you’re using either your cat or the pet cat you both have, there’s no way they’ll be able to say no. If you do plan on using your cat in your proposal, it doesn’t hurt to share your idea with Felix Cat Insurance. Who knows? You might end up winning and things could look a lot greener than they did before.
