Fancy Feast is one of the leading cat-food brands out there and to celebrate International Cat Day, NYC residents can enjoy Fete Du Feline by Fancy Feast.

Sounds pretty fancy and it’s the first of its kind which is always fun. Taking place in Madison Square Park in NYC on August 7th and 8th, it’s a time for humans to enjoy themselves.

Whether you own a cat or are just a cat lover, you’ll be able to enjoy some pretty amazing perks. You can even meet and greet the iconic Fancy Feast cat which sounds pretty dang dreamy. Plus I’m sure that cat is just the cutest thing in person.

There is also a chance at getting some custom engraved serving ware and even hand-drawn pet portraits. As someone who lose my cat a few years ago, I’d love to have a portrait of her so that sounds amazing but mostly importantly, let’s talk food.

While those are some great perks, I know that most people venture out if there’s going to be food, and rightfully so. Before getting into the food though, let’s talk details. The Fete du Feline Grand Tasting is happening on August 7th from 5 pm to 6:30 pm EST with tickets being released on July 31st at noon ET.

The tickets for the event are free yet you’ll need to register so you and a guest can be in the room. If you aren’t able to, the experience will be open to the public on August 8th which is International Cat Day. That will run from 11:00 am EST until 5:00 pm EST so even if you can’t get tickets, you can still enjoy.

Let’s talk about food, though. As shared via the brand’s recipe book, you can enjoy Tuscan Panzanella with Braised Beef which sounds heavenly, or even, an Apricot Pound Cake. Of course, these are for humans only, and rightfully so as they sound tasty.

Even if you aren’t able to attend, you’ll still be able to recreate these dishes at home because of Amanda Hassner. She’s the in-house chef for the brand and the beloved Andrew Rea of the Babish Culinary Universe. Whether you’re attending to get some perks for yourself or your kitty, the Fete Du Feline sounds like an amazing time in NYC this August.
