Sometimes I truly do believe that dogs are much better than humans. Oh wait…that’s all the time. Recently over in Lebanon, an abandoned baby was found being dragged to safety by a stray dog. This is one of the most heartbreaking yet heartwarming stories that you’ll ever read.

This stray dog was the literal life saver for this sadly abandoned baby.

A recent news story coming out of Lebanon is breaking the hearts of many across the globe, but it’s always heartwarming in a way because of how this story ends. This happened somewhere near the town hall in the Northern Lebanese city of Tripoli.

There was an abandoned baby girl who was presumably “left by her mother to be eaten by wild animals”. The baby was eventually discovered, but not by a passing human. The baby, whom was placed in some sort of garbage bag, was initially discovered by a passing stray dog who just so happened to notice this bad and must’ve had that ‘motherly instinct’ to drag her to safety. Someone who just so happened to be passing by the stray dog began to hear crying coming from the bag that the pup was dragging.

Pictures of the baby have been shared online, thanking the dog for doing what he did.

Many people are weighing in over on Twitter, including one user who said something that couldn’t be more true; we just had to share it here.

"“The dog has much more humanity, kindness, cunning, and intelligence (than it’s criminals)!”"

Unfortunately, this probably won’t be the last case of something like this happening. The conditions in Lebanon and their surrounding populous cities and getting much worse. We just hope that should this ever happen again, that they have a lucky dog there to save them.

Everyone is saying that this baby is a miracle and this dog is a hero!

We are so happy that the baby is now serious, but stable and improving by the minute. Thank god that that angel of a stray dog was around to help and bring this tiny little life to safety! It’s dogs like this that truly make humans seem like the type of creature to avoid. Dogs are certainly superior to humans and there’s just no doubt about it! As always…….Woof, Woof!
