The Pioneer Woman is one of the most loved and well-known chefs over on The Food Network. Recently, she took to Instagram to announce the unfortunate news that her beloved Hound, Walter, has passed away.
We hope that the Drummond Family is finding some comfort during this super difficult time in their lives right now!
Ree Drummond, The Pioneer Woman announced the passing of her beloved Hound Dog, Walter
Just a few short hours ago, The Pioneer Woman took to Instagram to announce Walter’s passing. Here’s what her post wholeheartedly read:
"“Goodbye, sweet wonderful Walter. I’m going to bed early so I can turn off these tears and instead dream sweet memories of you, the most loving loyal pure-hearted doggie our family has ever known. Go find your brother Charlie and have some fun, ol’ boy.”"
I am probably the biggest Ree Drummond fan out there, so all I can say is that I’ve seen both of her dogs from basically the beginning of time. It was always such a joy to see them running around on the farm during each and every episode of her show on the Food Network. Both of her dogs, Charlie and Walter, seemed like such sweetie pies and always seemed super chill and relaxed.
I truly do hope that Ree and the rest of the Drummond Family can find it in them to find comfort in realizing that Walter is no longer suffering or in pain. He now has the freedom to run around Puppy Heaven with his Best Buddy, Charlie, to their young hearts’ contents!
You can see the absolutely heartbreaking news post right over here!
It’s always hard losing a pet as they become family and sometimes even seemingly more than that. All we can do during their final hours is be there for them, love them, and make them comfortable, just like they did us for all of their years on Earth.
Here’s one of my favorite quotes about dogs to close this dog news to go out:
“If the kindest souls were rewarded the longest lives, then dogs would outlive us all.”
We truly do hope that The Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond, is finding peace and comfort during such a difficult time with losing Walter!! We love you and support you as always!!
