Sometimes Animal Shelters will put on little adoption events in order to raise awareness for said cause and to get some of their pups adopted, especially ones that have been there for quite a while. Through the Adoptions First NC shelter based out of North Carolina, they recently had an adoption day event, and for one dog, he got all dressed up in a suit and tie, the whole nine yards, but here’s the saddest part of the whole entire story: no one requested to meet him.

Unfortunately, Mushu hasn’t had the best of luck as far as getting adopted goes.

This dog got all dressed up for adoption day…he’ll find his furever home soon!

Poor Mushu. He’s been a part of so many different adoption events over at his NC shelter home, but for the longest time, he had no luck, not even someone to come and take a look at him.

One of the most heartbreaking things is looking at face during events like this because they just can’t seem to understand why nobody wants them when all they want to do is to have a furever fam to call their own and to cuddle up with one day.

There might just be one silver lining to this story. Upon looking on their ‘adoptable dogs’ section, Mushu’s name is nowhere to be found, so I’m hoping that that means that this poor little buddy was adopted and is now super happy and running around his forever home with his brand new family that loves and cares and dotes on him legit any chance that they might get!

Overall, pet adoption is such an important story and topic to talk about. Adopt don’t shop.
