Is there a new episode of Will Trent tonight? (April 4)

Since it’s premiere on ABC in January, Will Trent has not only been gaining viewers, but it has been keeping us entertained as well. However, there have been a lot of disruptions to the season too in terms of viewing.

Considering the first season of Will Trent is set to have just 13 episodes, the number of off weeks is actually a bit frustrating. It made sense for there to be no new episode on February 7 as that was due to the State of the Union, but then there was also a two week (two weeks without new episodes) break in March and now we are in for another two weeks without new episode of the series.

With these shorter seasons being more prevalent on network television now, it seems like the networks are less likely to give us more than a few episodes in a row before they do time off for other programming (or to account for events on other networks). It makes sense for the networks to do what they can to stretch out the season without adding new episodes, but we don’t have to like it.

There is no new episode of Will Trent on April 4

The next new episode of Will Trent will fall on April 18, which means no new episode on April 4. Instead of a new episode there will be a replay of episode 7, “Unable to Locate,” the episode where Will ends up missing in action and we learn more about his past with Angie.

We like the fact that even though it won’t be a new episode, they are at least giving us a repeat of an earlier episode for anyone who may have missed it the first time or who wants to support the series in general. Since the series has yet to be renewed for a second season, we can only hope that rewatching previous episodes will show the network that we want more of these characters and of course, of Betty!
