Dollar General gives their pet food line a refresh
Did you know that Dollar General offers their very own line of dog and cat food? Well, not only do they have their own private line of pet food, but their pet food recently got a makeover.
According to a press email that we received on behalf of Dollar General, their Nature’s Menu dog and cat food items have a new formulation and even the packaging has gotten an upgrade. So what makes their new formula so impressive? How about the fact that it is free of fillers, animal, byproducts, soy, corn, wheat, and other things that our pets do not need in their diet. Instead, the Nature’s Menu dry pet food has been enhanced with probiotics and pre-biotics in order to support our pets digestion. Of course, that’s not all.
The Nature’s Menu dry food also has minerals, vitamins, and nutrients, such as omega-3 fatty acids in order to help improve, not only the health of our dog, but also their skin and coat. These are all the things we look for in a quality pet food. And thanks to Dollar General, we don’t have to spend a fortune in order to get quality meals for our pets. They use real meats, such as poultry, lamb, and beef, to make premium grade, pet food for dogs, cats, and puppies.
Dollar General refreshes their pet food to bring premium options at affordable prices
These dry pet foods are available nationwide, with dog food available in both 15 pound and 5 pound bags. The puppy food is available in a 5 pound bag, and cats get their dry food in a 3.5 pound bag. The price of the bags range between $7 and $20.
We love the fact that quality pet food can be snagged at affordable prices in stores that are found even in the smallest of towns. As someone who has camped my way from Florida up to Massachusetts, I know that no matter where I go I can find a Dollar General store. And that means that no matter where we are, our pet can get an amazing quality dog food.
