Imagine being in the market for a new dog and you come across one who is known for giving so much affection, including hugs and kisses, to everyone that he meets. Wouldn’t you wanna bring him into your home? I totally would! This pup from The Hamptons, New York, is ready to give his brand new furever family, whoever that may be, plenty of love, affection, and attention!

Meet Gordy. He is a 6 year-old hound breed. He is currently sitting at the Animal Rescue Fund (ARF) out in The Hamptons, New York.

Does this hugs and kisses dog pique your interest? Check out all of his adoption information down below!

Originally, this black and white pup was brought to ARF super fearful and a stray. All of the workers and employees there feared that he would never be adopted as he was skiddish and fearful of anyone and everyone around him (especially those that were new to him as well).

Now that he’s had more than plenty of time to be trained and loved on by the staff over at ARF, he is nothing short of a good, energetic boy. He loves to give everyone that he meets now, hugs and kisses, and never ever wants to stop. He is now a super playful dog who continues to work on his different levels of confidence each and every day, especially when it comes to facing new sort of situations for him that he’s never ever seen or been in before.

Since new people can be just a bit overwhelming for sweet Gordy over here, he finds great security and guidance in the humans that he does know, which makes finding his furever family even that much more crucial and important!

Whoever is willing to adopt and take on the responsibility of a dog should know that Gordy will need quite a bit of time to get used to you, trust you, and bond with you before going home. But as the shelter put it the most perfectly themselves, once he bonds with you, the bond is nothing short of forever.
