Is Petco open on New Year’s Eve 2022?

Not only is it the end of the holiday season, but it is also the end of 2022. And for us that means a trip to Petco to stock up on essentials for our pets.

When it comes to Petco, they are known for supporting all of our pets. They make it easy to welcome a new animal into our home or to love on our pets as they get older. Petco has everything we need for all of our pets from dogs and cats to birds and fish.

Ahead of 2023 and a whole new year, they’re even releasing a line of New Year’s inspired dog toys (and it looks like maybe a cat toy or two as well). The collection features a New Year’s eve photo booth kit for dogs, party hats (or as they call them pawty hats), party bandannas and of course toys that represent the all night party that is New Year’s Eve.

But, in order to get your pet ready for a whole new year and get them stocked up on fresh dog toys and the perfect outfit for their celebration, we need to know whether or not Petco is open on New Year’s Eve. And if they are, what are their hours?

According to The Holiday Schedule, not only is Petco set to be open on New Year’s Eve, but it looks like they will be operating under their normal business hours. So no matter when you realize that Fluffy needs a new dog toy or wants to be part of the New Year’s fun, you can snag what you need to head into a new year with.

Of course, we always recommend calling ahead and checking with your store to make sure they actually are working under their normal business hours. Some locations may close early for the holiday.
