When President Biden and his family moved into the White House, one thing that a lot of us were excited for was the return of dogs to the Oval Office. At the time that the president and his family moved into the White House they did so with two dogs, Champ and Major.

Champ was actually with the Biden family when Joe Biden was the vice president. Major was a rescue dog, who made history as the first rescue to be in the White House. And then the drama ensued. From nasty comments in the news about what the senior Champ looked like, to speculation about Major and his behavior. Following the death of Champ, there were more issues that seemed to pop up and a puppy was added to the family named Commander.

By the time Major Biden left the White House he had been accused of biting a Secret Service agent. But now a new book is casting a shadow of doubt on what may have happened with Major.

New book indicates that someone was lying about Major Biden in the White House

According to People Magazine, a new book seems to indicate that President Biden is not trusting some of the Secret Service agents that he is working with in the White House. And among the distrust, is the idea that someone is lying about what happened with his dog, Major.

In the book written by Chris Whipple, he states “Somebody was lying, Biden thought, about the way the incident had gone down.” And apparently this is backed up by where the incident occurred in the White House. According to the author, “One of the reasons for Biden’s skepticism, Whipple says, is that the area of the White House where Major reportedly injured an agent is somewhere that Secret Service rarely goes.”

The book, which is called The Fight of His Life: Inside Joe Biden’s White House, goes into detail about more than just the Major biting scandal, but for those of us who are fans of dogs and especially presidential dogs this is the kind of information we want to know about. So yes, this is a book we will be reading.

We want to know what you think about what the book has to say. Do you think that someone is lying about what happened at the White House? Would you be surprised if Major was innocent? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
