If there is one thing that we can count on is that when we least want it to happen we will run out of dog food or kitty litter. And that’s when we turn to Petco.

With the holidays upon us, things get lost in the shuffle. Sure we went to the grocery store for everything we need to put together a family meal for the holidays, but did we remember to pick up extra dog food? Did we make sure that we had cat litter, dog treats, puppy training pads, and basically all of the essentials that we need for our pets?

Half the time we are lucky if we remember our own name, so when the holiday arrives we may find ourselves without the necessities we need for our dogs and cats (and other pets). This means last minute trips to Petco for supplies.

So of course, this also means finding out whether or not they will be open on Christmas Day.

Is Petco closed on Christmas Day 2022?

It probably comes as no surprise that Petco will actually be closed on Christmas Day. But, according to The Holiday Schedule, if you remembered to check for dog food, cat food, cat litter, or whatever else you may need early enough, we can hit the closest Petco on Christmas Eve. This is because they will not only be open, but the store is apparently operating with their normal hours (we definitely recommend calling ahead on Christmas Eve in case they do close early for their workers to spend time with loved ones).

We know that things happen and worse case scenario we can always hit up any grocery stores, pharmacies, or even convenience stores that are open on Christmas Day for whatever we may need for our dogs and cats this holiday season.
