Is Petco open on Thanksgiving Day 2022?

Is there anything better than spoiling your pet on a holiday? We think not! And with the help of Petco we can do a lot of pet spoiling.

Not only did Petco start their Black Friday deals early (both in stores and online), but they are always a great stop for everything we need for our dogs, cats, and more. However, just because we may want to head to the closest pet store on November 24, that doesn’t necessarily mean that we can (after all it is Thanksgiving).

So we did a little digging to figure out whether or not Petco would actually be open on Thanksgiving Day.

Is Petco closed on Thanksgiving Day 2022?

Unfortunately, Thanksgiving is one of three holidays where Petco is in fact closed. The other two holidays may not surprise you either as they are Christmas Day and Easter Sunday.

Of course, even though the pet store (basically all of them really) is closed on Thanksgiving Day, that doesn’t mean you can’t do some holiday shopping early. We love the fact that we can do a lot of our pet shopping online and this is especially true when we are talking about taking advantage of the sales and deals available to us for Black Friday.

While we may not be doing this shopping in store, this is the perfect opportunity to stock up on everything from dog toys and treats to cat supplies and even fish and bird necessities. So even though Petco stores are closed on Thanksgiving Day, their online store is open 24 hours a day!
