Krispy Kreme is always there for when we need a sweet treat but what about our dogs? They deserve a bit of sugary goodness too. Well, the donut shop is coming to the rescue for this year’s National Dog Day.
On Friday, Aug 26, Krispy Kreme will be offering dog biscuits in the shape of donuts. The biscuits are made using all-natural ingredients and they come in a variety of flavors including Original Glazed, Chocolate Cookie, Chocolate Sprinkles, Chocolate Iced, Strawberry Sprinkles, and Chocolate Cheesecake.
And don’t worry, there is no actual chocolate included in the biscuits. The “chocolate” donut biscuits are made with carob which looks like chocolate but actually comes from the carob tree.
The donuts biscuits are designed by Huds and Toke, an Australian-based pet bakery. The Doggie Doughnuts can be bought in boxes of six at any participating Krispy Kreme shop or via the drive-thru.

But that’s not all! The donut shop is also offering a red bandana with donuts, bones, and paws on it. It will help keep crumbs out of your dog’s fur and keep them looking good for their special national holiday.
So if you want to celebrate National Dog Day right, head over to Krispy Kreme and pick up some doggy donuts for your pup. And if you happen to leave with a dozen (or two) donuts for yourself, well, that just makes the holiday extra sweet.
But if you want these dog biscuits or a bandana, you’ll have to be quick. They will only be available while supplies last. The biscuits will be on sale over the weekend but only if there are any left.
