When you think of the Westminster Dog Show, what comes to mind? Is it the dogs and their handlers? Or do you think of dating?

Honestly, we are all about the dogs. And dating would definitely be the last thing on our minds, unless of course we were actually going on a date to the actual dog show. But dating definitely didn’t cross our minds.

But in 2022, that might be changing thanks to Filteroff. It seems that there is a very special event for singles happening this year for fans of the Westminster Dog Show.

According to a press email we received, “The Filteroff dating app is organizing an online speed dating event for fans of The Westminster Dog Show.” Basically, this is a chance for dog lovers to connect and possibly find a love connection with fellow dog lovers out there.

Over on the Filteroff page for this speed dating event, it reads, “Welcome to Westminster Dog Show Singles! You will be matched with singles around New York, New York.” So basically, singles of New York have a chance to potentially find the one for them based on their own love of dogs. And honestly, we are here for it.

We love the idea of people connecting over their love of dogs. And if this event can create some love matches, that would be amazing for so many reasons.

The event is scheduled to take place on June 12 from 8 p.m. until 8:45 p.m., which makes perfect sense since this is a “speed” based event.

Will there be love connections? Perhaps. But no matter what, it is clear that this year’s dog show is sparking the imagination. And that sounds like a good time to us.

But we want to know what you think. Would you take part in an event like this? We want to hear your thoughts on a speed dating event for dog lovers.
