Recently we shared news about a day at the beach, specifically Huntington Beach, for Corgis and their parents. It’s a fun event that has taken place for a few years now, but it is also not the only event that takes place at this beach. So when you visit or if you plan a visit, we have a big question. Where are you going to stay?

Luckily for us, we have some ideas courtesy of The Visit Huntington Beach Surf City USA website. And of course, we also received a press email with a break down of what makes these three hotels real winners for us and our furry friends!

So where are we staying when we head to Huntington Beach and the Huntington Beach Dog Beach?

3 Hotels for dog owners when you head to Huntington Beach with your pup

  • Kimpton Shorebreak – Up first, we have this hotel which is the closest one to the dog beach! It’s also the only one that doesn’t actually charge a pet fee. According to the press email we received, “It doesn’t matter if your family members are furry, feathery, or scaly—size, weight and breed are no concern either. There are no pet fees to pay, just plenty of treats, bowls and beds to keep your pet happy. Is it any wonder why human companions give Kimpton Shorebreak two thumbs up, while pets give it two paws up?”
  • Waterfront Hilton – Enjoy the perfect petcation with Hilton, as they offer our pets their very own welcome bowl with a treat. But that’s not all as from now until December 31, pet parents will receive 50 percent off the pet fee, the resort fee will be waived every day of your stay, and even a “daily $25 Hero Pizza credit.” This is definitely a win for us!
  • Paséa Hotel & Spa – It’s a hotel with a spa and that is never a bad thing. But then let us bring our dog with us and you had us at hello! So what else makes this hotel a must for pet owners heading to Huntington Beach? How about the fact the amenities include, “an in-room bed, food and water bowls, a dog treat welcome amenity and pet gift shop items, The Paw-séa package, offered at $150 in addition to the room charge, has all you need for a seaside getaway. On-site is the fenced in Paw-séa Pup Play Park featuring 1,100 square feet of outdoor space complete with a lifeguard station doghouse.” Plus, they can also help you with a dog walker or even a sitter if you decide to explore without your furry friend.

Basically, if you are heading to Huntington Beach, California we not only have a dog friendly beach, but also great hotels for resting and relaxing.
