Are you looking for a job? Do you want benefits that include treats for your dog or cat? Then you may want to read PetSmart’s latest newsletter.

Much like many other companies, PetSmart is hiring. And while you can easily see signs across the country letting you know that there are jobs available at their stores, PetSmart has taken this a step further and sent out the notice to their newsletter subscribers as well.

On February 2, newsletter subscribers received an email with the title, “NOW HIRING: Pet parents like you!” It was a clear sign that PetSmart is more than happy to bring on people who love animals just as much as they do.

In the body of the email, they went on to say that there are both full time and part time jobs currently available and you are able to “pick your passion.” But what does that mean? It means that there are a wide range of positions available in their stores, including as part of the grooming team, the PetsHotel team, or even as a regular store associate.

One of the big things they seem to hope for, is to find pet lovers who will “do anything for pets.”

The email also pointed out that there are a number of benefits to joining the PetSmart team including,

  • Medical and wellness benefits
  • A discount of 50 percent off of select merchandise
  • Schedules that are flexible
  • Training opportunities and more

But if you want to know more about the benefits of working for PetSmart, there is an entire page set up about that, which also breaks them down by where you live (as in Canada, Puerto Rico, and the United States). And if you are looking to actually apply to work for the company, you can check out their apply now page.
