Trusted Housesitters wants to help encourage senior pet adoptions by giving away memberships
Senior pets are often the animals left behind in the shelters, with less prospects for finding a new home. But Trusted Housesitters wants to help to change that.
If you’re not familiar with Trusted Housesitters, it is “the world’s largest pet sitting network.” They help us get away without worrying about our furry family members, and they also offer people a unique opportunity to travel and do some good. No matter what, we definitely recommend checking them out if you are looking for someone who may be able to watch your pet when you can’t be there.
But this is not about what Trusted Housesitters is, this is about how they are encouraging people to adopt senior pets right now! And what better way to encourage something like that than with a giveaway.
So what is the giveaway?
Trusted Housesitters giving away memberships to encourage senior pet adoptions
According to the press email we received,
"To encourage trends in favor of senior pets, Trusted Housesitters is launching their Golden Years Pawgram, pledging to gift memberships to those who show proof of senior pet adoption throughout the holiday season.New senior pet parents can submit their name, contact information, along with a photo of their pet and proof of senior adoption to this form. The program is open for submissions until December 28th, 2021."
Basically, if you are willing to bring a senior pet into your home this holiday season, you can get a membership to their newly introduced Golden Years Pawgram. With this membership you don’t have to worry about leaving your older pet behind when you travel or have to go away, even for a night.
Instead, you can be sure that your pup (or cat) is in good hands, with someone who will also give your pet the love that they deserve.
We already know that senior pets are just as loving and deserving of a forever home as any other pet out there, and we love to see companies doing their part to encourage these types of adoptions.
What do you think fellow dog lovers? Have you heard of Trusted Housesitters before? What do you think of this offer to encourage senior pet adoptions? We would love to hear your thoughts.
