The Puppy app can bring shopping deals for the holidays, because who doesn’t like to save money while spoiling their dog at the same time?

According to their website, “Puppy was started from our frustration shopping at big retailers. As pet owners ourselves, we kept feeling ripped off while shopping at these other stores and wanted to create a place for high quality products and great prices.”

This means working directly with suppliers, which can result in prices 15 percent cheaper than animal supply store giants like Chewy.

Current bestsellers include a variety of canine accessories like dog treats, dog toys (especially a variety of balls, though plushies and rope toys are also available) and wearable items like leashes and doggy baseball caps.

Available in both the Google Play Store and the Apple Store, the Puppy app is free and has more than ten thousand downloads in Google Play and a 3.6 rating as of this writing, while its Apple Store rating is even better at a 4.7 score out of a perfect 5.

The new Puppy app brings holiday shopping deals to the realm of dogs, since pet parents love saving money, too.

The new Puppy app offers a variety of great deals, but there a little bit of a catch to their pricing model, of course – like with Groupon, a certain amount of people have to take advantage of the deal for the pricing to take effect.

But if that goal isn’t reached, everyone will be refunded, though if you invite friends into the deal with you, you’ll receive an additional 20 percent off your purchase price.

And since a good portion of the internet runs off the goodwill of pet photos, the Puppy app also features daily contests with themes like “Best Haircut” or “Cutest Smile” where customers can submit photos or videos of their pet that earn them points that can be redeemed for free products.
