Have you heard of WashBar yet? This New Zealand-based line of pet care products has hit the shores of the U.S. and now our dogs are in for a sustainable treat that will not only keep them clean, but that even offers our pets paws some love too.

So what exactly does WashBar have to offer? According to their website, they currently offer four products – the WashBar Original Soap for Dogs, the WashBar Paw Balm: Kanuka + Repair, the Manuka WashBar for Dogs, and the WashBar Horse & Hound Shampoo Bar.

When it comes to their flagship product, we have to look to the Original Soap for Dogs, which is literally a bar of soap for our pups. This is basically a shampoo bar that helps to get our dogs clean and fluffy, ready for anything. With ingredients such as lemon scented tea tree oil, neem leaf, and manuka oil, this is a product any dog parent will love.

Not only is this bar paraben free and sulfate free, but it is also free of synthetic dyes and fragrances. Basically, it is a sustainable product that is also pet safe.

While we love the idea of the Original Soap for Dogs, it is definitely the Paw Balm that we need in our lives. And if you have a pup with rough, chapped paws, then you will understand.

As we head into the cold months of winter, this is the perfect time to get our hands on a product that will help our dog’s paws keep moisturized. In fact, as the company describes their Paw Balm, this is a product that “is designed to soothe and moisturize paws, the perfect match for dry or damaged skin.”

Sounds like the perfect tool for our winter arsenal, and if we add in the original soap bar, then we have everything we need to keep our dogs going not only this winter, but all year long.
