Major Biden is spending the weekend with his parents in Delaware

Our First Dog is spending the weekend relaxing with his parents in Delaware! That’s right, Major Biden is enjoying some time away from the White House.

It’s been a bit of a busy week for Major Biden and the Oval Pawffice. Not only has Major shared how he is dealing with the aftermath of Champ’s death, but he is finally getting back to work on social media and with his fundraising efforts (specifically in regards to the Delaware Humane Association which is the current organization that the Oval Pawffice is trying to raise money for).

And now we know that at least for a few days, our First Dog is taking a break with his parents, President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. In a new post to the Oval Pawffice social media account, Major Biden shared two adorable pictures (including one with a pink spiky ball toy), along with the news that this is a chance to unwind and enjoy some of his favorite things to do!

Major Biden heads to Delaware for the weekend with the President and First Lady

In the caption to his post on Instagram, Major Biden shared

"I’m so excited! I get to spend the entire weekend with my parents in Delaware. This means lots of playing with my favorite toys, innumerable nom noms, sunbathing and most impawrtantly, lots of snuggles and love from mom @FLOTUS and dad @POTUS. Awooof!"

We love to see this! It is nice to see Major enjoying some relaxation and time with his parents. Whether it is playing with toys, enjoying cuddles, or enjoying all the treats and naps, sometimes a First Dog just needs a break. And that is exactly what he is getting with his parents this weekend!

Hopefully getting a break with his parents will help to recharge and rejuvenate the First Pup. And yes, we will be excited to see how Major is doing after this little break from the White House.
