It’s been a difficult few months for Major Biden. From losing his brother to not always being home at the White House or even getting online. But considering part of his online presence is an effort to raise money for charity, it makes sense that the First Dog would hop online to let us know that he is aware of how bad it has been.

In a new post shared to the Oval Pawffice Instagram account, Major admits to being absent from social media and even from the news as of late. And because of this he is also admitting to not really being able to raise the kind of funds that an organization like the Delaware Humane Association needs.

Major Biden talks about his lack of fundraising over the last few month and the future

So what exactly did Major Biden share with us on his Instagram? According to our First Dog,

"Friends, this month I didn’t do great in my fundraising efforts, barely enough to keep the website up. But it’s pawnderstandable, so many things are happening (COVID etc), the fact that there haven’t been any news / photos of my furry self in months didn’t help either."

So what does all of this mean? It means that while we have been lacking in Major Biden news as of late, we may see that changing in coming months. But that’s not all.

It also means that in August, The Oval Pawffice will be continuing to raise money for the Delaware Humane Association. Considering they barely raised enough money to keep their website up and running, it absolutely makes sense that they would want to keep the fundraiser going.

Hopefully things get a little easier for Major Biden and he is able to raise the funds he wants to for the DHA, where he was adopted from. Of course, we will have to wait to see what happens and keep our fingers crossed for a more successful fundraiser in August.
