Apparently it is every White House pet for themselves in the case of an emergency and Major Biden is responding to this news!

In a recent report from Gizmodo, they reached out for information regarding safety protocols involving the Secret Service and the White House pets. And it seems that there is no plan in place for a pet such as Major Biden if there is an emergency that would require the First Family to be removed from the White House for safety reasons. (When I saw this news my first thought was zombie apocalypse and I have no shame.)

It is hard to deny that it actually makes sense that there is not an evacuation plan for pets, but of course we always worry about our furry friends and want to make sure that they are okay. Well it looks like Major has decided to weigh in on this news report.

Major Biden shares his thoughts on the report that there is no Secret Service protection plan in place for him

On the Oval Pawffice Instagram account, Major Biden shared a screenshot of the article headline from Gizmodo. He then confirmed there is no plan in place, but he also didn’t seem that concerned. In his post he shared,

"True, there is no pawfficial DOTUS pawtection plan in place in case of a pawttack, but the pawsome @secretservice agents keeping my family safe will do their best to ensure I’m safe too. Because to dad @POTUS and mom @FLOTUS, I am family. Awooof! – Major"

Like Major himself points out, he is family. And that means that his parents will lookout for him no matter what happens.

We don’t think there is anything to worry about, and clearly Major doesn’t think so either. And that is always a good thing.
