While we are eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Champ and Major Biden’s feline sister, they are reminding us that we still have a First Cat in office. Although some might forget that Winston, Naomi Biden’s feline companion is considered the current COTUS, the First Dogs are doing their part to remind us otherwise.

On The Oval Pawffice social media accounts, the First Dogs shared two pictures of Winston – one as a kitten and one as a more mature cat. And with it came the reminder that they too are waiting for their feline sister to join the family. However, while we all wait for that day to come, we can’t forget that at least for now, the current First Cat is in fact Winston since he is the only feline Biden around.

In their reminder, Major Biden pointed out that Winston is his and Champ’s cousin.

It was definitely a great reminder that Winston is still the First Cat until the First Dogs’ new kitty sibling is adopted. And of course, when browsing The Oval Pawffice social media accounts, we have certainly seen plenty of posts from Winston himself as he promotes kitties looking for their furever homes and helping raise funds for animal charities.

Until the new kitty is adopted at the White House, Winston is still First Cat

We are actually fans of both First Dogs and our current First Cat and we can’t wait to meet the newest furry member of the Biden family. While it will be a bit sad to see Winston demoted (maybe he can be VCOTUS), it is always a good thing when new furry friends are adopted and given a new home.

Until the new feline of the White House joins the family though, at least we have Winston to lead the kitty contingent of the USA.
