On July 15, Turner & Hooch held a red carpet, premiere event in Los Angeles where guests and their pups could watch the first two episodes of the new Disney+ series along with the cast and crew. It was an event that included some gorgeous red carpet fashion, a reunion between Josh Peck and John Stamos, and of course puptails.

That’s right – there were puptails at this event. And if you aren’t 100 percent sure what that is, it is basically a cocktail for dogs. It’s a mocktail if you will.

When we received the press email about the premiere event in Los Angeles, they mentioned that there were Puptails for the pups invited to the event, but unfortunately they didn’t share what those doggy cocktails were. Luckily for us we have Variety to save the day.

Now we know at least two of the Puptails that were offered at the L.A. premiere of Turner & Hooch. And we think they make a perfect choice for your watch party when Turner & Hooch premieres on Disney+ on July 21.

Puptails inspired by the Turner & Hooch premiere event in L.A.

While we don’t know if there were more Puptails offered at the Turner & Hooch premiere event, we think even these two Puptails are a great choice for our Disney+ watch party.

Up first there was the Muttjito. A play off of a classic Mojito, this particular puptail uses a beef bone broth that is then garnished with some fresh mint. It is simple and easy to make.

The second puptail that was offered on the red carpet was a Blueberry Pawtini. For this drink, it starts with a turkey bone broth. It is then garnished with duck jerky and a blueberry. (Of course, the jerky should be a dog friendly option, and if you want you can switch out for a different jerky flavor.)

Hopefully with these puptails straight from the L.A. premiere of Turner & Hooch, we can enjoy the first episode of the new Disney+ series with our pups. Are you going to give these puptails a try with your pup?
