Pooch Perfect, episode 7 was all about the four main seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall, mixed with a little bit of some Mythical Creatures that are found somewhere along the way! There’s also a super special romantic surprise for one team, as assisted by TV show host, Rebel Wilson herself so definitely stick around for that one!

Pooch Perfect episode 7 premiered on ABC on Tuesday, May 11, and let’s just say that there was lots of fun taking a nature walk through all four seasons – hot and cold! “I do” think that this week was super special to say the least (catch the romantic surprise hint there?)!

This week’s opener:

"“Welcome to Pooch Perfect! Groomers….you’ve made it to the Semi Finaaaaaaals! You guys are our Pawsome Foursome!” ~Rebel Wilson, Host"

These four are the only teams, according to Rebel, that have a shot at winning the $100,000.00 cash prize, courtesy of Purina – so, that being said, lot’s of pressure, but good luck to all!

Let’s get ready for Pooch Perfect episode 7 – seasonal treats AND some cool mythical twists!

First up, the Immunity Puppertunity challenge – Pawlitics….just kidding, as Rebel Wilson joked around with the teams….A Dog For All Seasons! Each team will be randomly assigned just one of each of the four seasons – Winter, Spring, Summer, and/or Fall (Autumn to some), and create a look to wow the judges – some teams may have to learn to “Let it Go” and relax “In Summer” (see what I did there?)!

“Release the Hounds!”

“Groomers, your time is pup!”

Here’s what each team did for this seventh Immunity Puppertunity challenge this week:

First up, we had Gabriel and Monse who were inspired by the season of Summer! From tropical, cooling fruits (the adorable banana tail), to a sun hat, to seashells and one front leg (the right one to be exact) painted like the color(s) of the ocean, and finally the most adorable puppy sunglasses with some sparkly gemstones throughout the whole entire body, this dog is ready for the beach!

Second in line, we had Riza and Sarah who were inspired by the season of Fall! There was plenty of orange (pumpkin booty), yellow, and red Fall-like colors to go around for days here. A golden leafy crown adorned the pooch’s pretty little head, Fall-colored leaves were placed carefully and elegantly around the entire bodice, the little feet were painted to resemble everyone’s fave Candy Corns, the pup adorned an absolutely beautiful black and red plaid scarf, and finally, the tail was green in order to resemble the carefully-placed pumpkin booty stem to top (end) it all off!

Third up, we had Macie and Corina who were inspired by the season of Spring! There were so many different-colored flowers around the pooch’s head, neck, bodice, hind and front legs, and even working their way all the way down to the (tip of the) tail. A few sparkles and butterflies topped this whole entire Spring Vibes look together with absolutely plenty of bright springy colors, such as pinks, greens, yellows, oranges, and blues to tie it all into one gorgeous cohesive look!

Fourth in line, and finishing off this seventh Immunity Puppertunity challenge, we had Alyssa and Justin who were inspired by the season of Winter! They did up their pooch Sadie to look like a gorgeous teal and sparkly ice princess that she wonderfully and truly is and was for sure meant to be with her diva-esque personality (the way she was so hyper and excited coming up on stage is really what did it for me – teehee, so freaking cute, am I right?!). She had a crown, sparkly snowflakes throughout her entire bodice and hind legs, followed by some other pretty jewels around her neck and bodice, and her fur molded and shaped to look like majestic icicles. Gorgeous job!

And the winners of this fifth Immunity Puppertunity….Gabriel and Monse (2 weeks in a row with their Summer/beach-ready pup)!

The second half of the episode was occupied by Pooch Perfect’s seventh Ultimutt Challenge….Game of Bones!

The rules? Take a normal adorable pup and essentially and completely transform them into something mythical – in face any mythalogical creature of each team’s choosing to be exact!

After some time was completed….”Groomers, your time is pup!”

Now, here’s what each team decided to transform their pups into on the official Dog Walk:

  • Macie & Corina (Lion (cat body)/Eagle (bird head)) – Inspired by a Griffin, this pooch was surely ready to slay any beasts that came it’s way and protect anything it can!
  • Riza & Sarah (Little Red Riding Hood-inspired) – All of the wolf-like/wolf-inspired elements were there, making it super easy to identify (ID) who this mythical poochy creature was!
  • Gabriel & Monse (Amazon rainforest protector) – Bright colors throughout, eyes to show he’s always watching us and more made me want to Google this super mysterious beast ASAP!
  • Alyssa & Justin (Kirin-inspired) – Mixed up of a bunch of different animals, like deer, having a lion’s mane, ox tail, and dragon scales, this positive vibes creature came at a perfect time!

And finally after all of that….

My Personal Pick for Best in Show: Alyssa and Justin’s mythical mix of creatures ( + I Do)

I personally can’t choose my least favorite, though.

BEST IN SHOW: Macie and Corina (Griffin-inspired)

ELIMINATED TEAM: Riza and Sarah (Little Red Riding Hood-inspired)
