The Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond, is ready for National Pet Day 2021 with the help of none other than Purina themselves! Bring on the treats.
As part of a new partnership with Purina, the Pioneer Woman is taking her dog loving to the next level with new Jerky Cuts for adult dogs. Launching in honor of April 11’s National Pet Day, these new treats come in three delicious flavors for our pups to enjoy.
Inspired by the ranch life, the Jerky Cuts come in Ranch-Raised Beef Recipe, Farm-Raised Chicken Recipe, and Ranch-Raised Lamb Recipe. And of course these treats are made with natural ingredients that we have no problem giving to our pups.
As the dog mom to seven dogs, Drummond understands the importance of giving our pups quality treats and food products. And as someone who already has an entire lifestyle brand around quality, homestyle cooking/eating/living, we expect nothing less from these new dog treats.

In the press release for this new line of dog treats, Ree Drummond explained:
"On the ranch, our pups are truly part of the family and I couldn’t imagine life without them. I want my dogs to experience treats inspired by the great homestyle recipes that the rest of my family enjoys, and I couldn’t be more excited to share the new Pioneer Woman Jerky Cuts as another delicious treat option for pet parents nationwide. They have passed the Drummond Dog taste test, and I know your dogs will love them too!"
And I can confirm that at least one of our staff pups is obsessed with these new treats. Ladybug is as much a fan of the Beef-flavored Jerky Cuts, as she is the Lamb Recipe. While she is sometimes a picky eater (it’s a no for her on peanut butter flavors), when it comes to these Jerky Cuts, Ladybug is all in.
The beef was a fast eat for our picky pup, with the lamb being a close second in terms of how quickly this treat was nommed. While there was absolutely nothing wrong with the chicken flavor (Ladybug was definitely a fan), she definitely took her time with this treat. Even with the slow nibbles, it was pretty clear that all three flavors were a winner in our pups eyes (and tummy).
We are pretty excited about these new treats, as they are something new for us to spoil our pups with. I also love the fact that they are made from natural ingredients that Ree Drummond herself would be cooking with.
If you want to get your hands on these treats for your pup, they can be found in Target and Meijer grocery stores nationwide. You can also grab them online via Target’s website as well.
We love when the Pioneer Woman gives us new products for our pups and we can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.
