The Guiding Eyes 2021 Valentine’s Day contest is super cute.

A Guiding Eyes for the Blind guide dog in training named Amore, who is a black Labrador Retriever, has been looking for what card to send her friends this year, so they’re having an online contest to help her decide which picture from a recent photoshoot looks cutest.

Voting for the best photo takes place on the Guiding Eyes website and will run until midnight ET on Saturday night, February 13.

Photo 1 shows Amore sitting proudly in the middle of a photoshoot set, Photo 2 snuggled in a blanket, Photo 3 wearing a glittery scarf and heart headband, and in Photo 4 she’s staring soulfully into the camera.

There is also the option to donate to Guiding Eyes for the Blind while voting as well, should voters have the means to do so.

The Guiding Eyes 2021 Valentine’s Day contest is really adorable.

“Amore” means “love” in Italian, evolving slightly from the Latin word “amor,” which makes it a great name for Valentine’s Day pup. It made the Rover list of Italian dog names in 2019, coming in third, though it must be pointed out that their list of suggestions was organized alphabetically.

The winning photo will be announced on the Guiding Eyes social media pages on Sunday, February 14, which is Valentine’s Day itself.

Guiding Eyes has been serving the blind and visually impaired since the 1950s from their main campus in Yorktown Heights, New York, about an hour north of New York City. They also train dogs specially trained for work as assistance dogs and running guide dogs, depending on students’ needs.

No student has to pay for the dog or their three-week orientation stay, which led to one couple getting married after meeting during their orientation process.
