It looks like Major Biden is out of the proverbial dog house after the First Dogs social media account posts a letter from President Biden’s doctor about his foot.
Remember back in November when news broke that then President-Elect Joe Biden had sustained an injury to his foot while playing with his pup Major? Well it seems that the good news is out and our First Rescue Dog is officially back to being a very good boy.
On Feb. 6, the First Dogs shared a note from President’s doctor clearing him after his foot fracture, and of course Major had a few things to say. In the post sharing what the doctor had to say, Major Biden captioned the news with, “Pawsome news: my dad’s foot is #CompletelyHealed. Just like my good boy repawtation. Awoooooof!”
Then in a follow-up post, we can see Major running on the White House grounds with the Washington Monument behind him. However, it’s not the picture itself that is the focus of the post (although we are here for it), but rather his message to his followers. According to the pup, “Look at me, repawtation intact again, no shawdow of doubt regarding the foot fracture incident.”
Major Biden has come off the naughty list after the President gets all clear on his foot
With the President getting the all clear, even Major thinks it is time to move on from what happened in the past. And while we understand why the pup might think this was an “unpawrtunate incident in my past,” we can’t help but point out that accidents happen and we doubt the pup was ever really considered a bad boy.
That being said, we are excited to see the pup celebrating the news that his dad is okay and that we can all move past that one black mark on his record.
