Matthew Perry has a new puppy named Alfred

Matthew Perry has a new addition to his family – a puppy named Alfred. And it looks like the pup is already getting settled into the limelight, as the pup even has his own Instagram account!

According to People Magazine, the former Friends star officially introduced his followers to the puppy with a post on his Instagram account on Jan. 23. In the post, Perry can be seen holding the Doodle mix in his arms, and the caption simply reads, “This is me and @alfreddoodleperry. Who’s cuter? Don’t answer that.”

However, considering that Alfred’s first Instagram post is actually from Jan. 17 and he appeared in a video post on the actor’s account from Dec. 12, it looks like the pup has been settling into the Perry family for a little while now.

While there are only six posts on the pup’s Instagram account as of Jan. 24, one of them does include the actor himself. That post features Matthew Perry and Alfred in bed while the actor reads from his phone. Clearly the pup is sleeping and his caption seems to prove that as it reads, “I’m not very helpful while my dad learns his lines.”

Matthew Perry’s pup brings his own brand of cuteness to Instagram

We love when celebrities share their pets with the world. And Matthew Perry’s pup Alfred is definitely an adorable addition to the family. Plus, we are pretty excited to see Alfred getting his own Instagram account, as it likely means we will actually get to see quite a bit of the pup as he gets older.

With Alfred having joined Perry’s family around the beginning of December (based on the video from Instagram), it makes sense that the pup might not get a more formal introduction until now, as it meant that he got a chance to settle in. We are just happy to see more of the pup, especially with his own Instagram account, as it means we get to enjoy all the cuteness and fluff ourselves.
