Boston Market and a Golden Retriever wish Instagram a happy New Year

What better way is their to celebrate a new year than with a dog? And clearly Boston Market agrees, at least over on Instagram.

When it comes to effective marketing, there is something about dogs that just draws us in and keeps us hooked. So of course, when we see Boston Market using a Golden Retriever in their Instagram post wishing everyone a happy New Year, you know we had to stop and stare.

More from Dog of the Day

Honestly, we can’t think of a better way to celebrate any holiday than with a dog at our side. So this is the kind of marketing effort we are here for. And when it comes to this particular post, both the Golden Retriever and the restaurant come out on top.

Boston Market uses a very good pup to wish us all happy New Year

I’ll admit, that for me, I just want to pet the very good boy (or girl) in that post. And when I say very good, I mean it. After all, not only is this pup sitting there with a party hat on their head (and it is on perfectly still), but they are in front of what looks like a delicious meal from the restaurant too!

On the table in front of the Golden Retriever is none other than a pot pie and a piece of cornbread from Boston Market. As a fan of the restaurant and all of their dishes, even I would have trouble not digging right into that delicious goodness sitting on the table. And for this pup to not only sit there and not eat that pot pie in a single bite, but to let someone take their picture too! Well, we have to say that is one very well-behaved dog.

Did you see this Instagram post from Boston Market? Are you as impressed with the pup in the picture as we are? Do you love doggy marketing too? Tell us in the comments below.
