A Christmas song for our dogs has arrived

For the first time ever, dogs are getting their own song for the holidays. That’s right, the “world’s first ever” Christmas song has arrived for our pups.

With the holidays approaching, there is a lot of uncertainty that surrounds how people will be celebrating Christmas. And yet, if there is one thing we can count on, it is the fact that our dogs are still getting special treats this year. But this year, one of the treats that our pups will get to enjoy happens to be of the more musical variety.

According to ABC News, on Nov. 18, a company released what they are calling the world’s first ever Christmas song for our dogs. The song, which is called “Raise the Woof!,” was actually scientifically created to appeal to our dogs and their sensitive hearing.

According to the company behind the song, “Raise the Woof!” was “specifically recorded for dog’s ears based on scientific studies of sounds that elicit positive reactions from them.” Using a focus group of 25 dogs over the course of two months, music producers tested out nearly 500 different sounds in an effort to see how the focus group of pups would react to the noises.

The goal of the song was to actually engage the pup in the music, and that means that if you are interested in seeing whether or not your dog enjoys the song created for them, you might look for alertness. Signs of engagement might include their tail wagging, head cocked to the side, and even seeing their ears move to behttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgZXT19l8IItter catch the sounds produced by the track.

With actual commands, expressions our dogs will understand, and sound effects that they love, as well as reggae beats, this is not your typical Christmas carol. And yet, this might just be the coolest thing we have heard for our dogs in a while.
