Guy Fieri brings back a post from 2019 to wish his pup happy birthday on Twitter

When it comes to celebrities sharing their love for their pets, there is nothing quite as fun as a birthday appreciation post. And Guy Fieri is the latest to show the Twitter love by bringing back an adorable post from 2019.

It seems that Nov. 4 is Fieri’s dog Smokey’s birthday and in an effort to share the love, the celebrity chef decided to retweet his post from 2019. In 2019, Smokey celebrated his second birthday with Guy Fieri posting a picture of the pup using his shoulder as a lookout post. In the caption at the time, the chef wrote “Happy 2nd bday to my right hand man, Smokey Dog! This lil guy goes everywhere with me and thinks he’s a big bad Rottweiler.”

At the time, Fieri called his pup the best birthday gift ever with the help of a hashtag. And honestly, we can totally see his point, as we think pups are epic gifts (every single day we have them of course).

Guy Fieri wished a happy third birthday to Smokey on Twitter

Of course, with this being a new year and another birthday, the chef made sure to update his caption in the retweet by calling his pup his “number 1 right hand man and best buddy.”

And maybe it is just me, but I found this tribute to his pup to be ridiculously cute all around. Not only did he bring back the post where he let us all know that his pup thinks he is a “Rottweiler,” but he also made it clear that Smokey is one of his best friends.

Anytime we can see a celebrity showing love to their dogs, we are here for it, and this is no different. Of course, we would love to see more of Smokey popping up on Fieri’s social media, but we can handle seeing the chef showing the love for his pup’s birthday every year when the posts are this cute.
