At home dog grooming requires Hartz dog shampoo

When it comes to keeping your pup clean and fresh, giving your dog a bath is a must. And with the help of Hartz, you can make that happen.

Owning a dog can be an expensive proposition, even as it is highly rewarding. And if you own a dog, you have likely heard of Hartz.

As someone who has owned dogs my entire life, Hartz dog shampoo has been a staple in my bathroom. After all, giving a pup a bath is something that has to happen often.

Hartz gives us a number of shampoos that work

While there are a lot of shampoos that the company has to offer to keep our dogs clean and well-groomed, I am focusing on the two that I have not only used, but I find work pretty well.

Up first, I have to give the focus to the Soothing Oatmeal shampoo, which is a gentle formula that uses chamomile as one of the soothing ingredients. This shampoo is free of both parabens and sulfates, two things that many women are looking in their own hair products. And with the scent of buttermilk, this is just the best dog shampoo I have ever used (on a pup of course!).

Every time I have used this shampoo to wash up a pup at home, I have found that they are not only clean and smell good, but their hair feels softer and even their skin feels like it is healthier.

The second shampoo is their Rid Flea and Tick Dog Shampoo. This shampoo offers a fresh citrus scent, which I love, and it really does seem to help keep the fleas and ticks away. I will say, this is one shampoo that we didn’t and don’t use often, but rather keep this as something for every few months or when it seems like there is a problem with fleas or ticks.

While there are grooming options that let us treat our pup to what amounts to a spa day, there are still times when a bath at home has to happen. And having these shampoos on hand absolutely makes a difference.
